Michael Zuckerman

Bio

Mike Zuckerman joins the Iona Prep coaching staff after over ten years coaching at the Division I level, most recently at Utah State. While with the Aggies, he coached inside linebacker MJ Tafisi to Phil Steele Honorable Mention All-American honors in 2023, and was part of the staff that won the program's first-ever Mountain West Championship in 2021, capping an 11-3 season with a win in the LA Bowl. Zuckerman's path to Utah State began as a student assistant at The University of Miami (2011-12), followed by two seasons at Rutgers (2013-14) and seven seasons back on Miami's staff (2014-20), where he rose from graduate assistant to senior quality control analyst for defense. A 2008 graduate of New Rochelle High School, Zuckerman served as a captain on the football team under Coach Lou DiRienzo. He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Miami.
